Country Style offers 5 levels of menu offerings including:
- Hot Beverage Program (Self Serve)

- Hot Beverage, Baked Goods & Breakfast (Full Serve)
- Hot Beverage, Baked Goods & Bistro Deli Express (Full Serve)
In addition, depending on the setting, a drive thru component or seating package can be added.

We are expanding the Country Style brand throughout Ontario and Eastern Canada. Convenience stores with petroleum, entertainment venues and other retail outlets have enjoyed the many benefits of our program. We seek gold standard operators with host sites that are conveniently accessible to coffee drinkers everywhere. Country Style is expanding and enjoying success in Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island and New Brunswick.
What is Country Style’s greatest strength?
Country Style’s strongest asset is our coffee. Country Style has great tasting coffee and is reinforcing its coffee brand as a high quality, superb tasting product, with a new slogan… "it's going to be a good day".
What is the estimated total cost of a Country Style non-traditional franchise?
The costs vary depending on the level and complexity of the menu offering. We would be pleased to discuss a program that is best suited for your needs.
How much cash or unencumbered capital is required?
The estimated total cash investment will vary, depending on the total value of the project.
Is financing available?
Typically, financing is available through the Canadian chartered banks utilizing the Canadian Small Business Loans Financing Act (CSBLFA) to finance 90% of leasehold improvements, fixtures and equipment. The amount of financing will vary from location to location depending on the amount of leasehold improvements, fixtures and equipment. Country Style will review in detail the process involved and how to prepare you to meet with a bank.
What is the Franchise Fee?
The amount of the initial Franchise Fee will depend on the program:
- Level 1 - $5,000
- Level 2 - $10,000
- Level 3 - $10,000
- Level 4 - $12,500
- Level 5 - $17,500
What is the term of the Franchise Agreement?
The term of the Franchise Agreement will depend on the program:
- Level 1 - 5 years
- Level 2 - 5 years
- Level 3 - 5 years
- Level 4 - 10 years
- Level 5 - 10 years
How much is the Royalty?
The amount of the Royalty is 4.5% of gross sales.
How much is the Advertising Contribution?
The amount of the Advertising Contribution is 3.5% of gross sales.
How does the advertising work?
Our marketing department will develop advertising initiatives to create effective campaigns designed to build brand name awareness and traffic to Country Style points of distribution. In addition, our marketing and operations departments will work with you to establish effective Local Store Marketing strategies.
How is a location approved?
The selection of a suitable location is an important ingredient to the recipe of success. Locations are selected based on traffic, visibility, retail synergies, access, etc. We would require digital images along with your non-traditional application form for assessment. Once a location has been approved, we would prepare and send to you a Franchise Agreement for signature and submission, along with the payment of a deposit.
Who builds the Country Style restaurant?
Country Style provides all of the drawings and specifications required for you to build out the Country Style branded offering within your facility. The equipment and certain leasehold improvements are ordered and supplied through Country Style.
What markets are available?
Country Style is currently focusing its expansion efforts throughout Ontario, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, New Brunswick and Newfoundland.
Are multiple units available?
Many of our existing non-traditional partners are multiple unit owners. Our experience is that multiple unit ownership provides many benefits to a Country Style non-traditional franchisee. Owning multiple units allows an operator to capitalize on management efficiencies and economies of scale with the ability to cross promote and cross manage among the units.
What initial training will I receive?
Country Style provides a comprehensive initial training program by our corporate trainer, which is tailored to the type of non-traditional program. In addition, Country Style provides on-going operational support with a dedicated Regional Manager for each location.
What level of sales and income can a non-traditional Country Style franchise generate?
The sales volume and profitability of a Country Style franchise will vary, depending on many factors. Management ability, among other factors will affect the sales and profitability from any Country Style franchise.
Where do my products and ingredients come from?
To maintain high quality standards, Country Style has selected approved suppliers. Country Style has established a supply chain service to service our franchisees with an approved food service distributor to supply products. In the case of non-traditional units that offer baked goods, if available, local full production traditional units in the area supply donuts and other fresh baked bakery items.

Country Style is a proud member of the Canadian Franchise Association and abides by its code of ethics. Country Style is an active supporter of the CFA and our management is involved with CFA committees and CFA programs.
