Application Form: Submit a completed Franchise Application Form for each applicant. The Submission of your Application is confidential and carries no obligation. This will allow us to make an initial assessment of your financial status, personal references, business background and location preferences.

Personal Interview: Upon the preliminary approval of your Application, we will arrange a personal meeting with you at our offices in Richmond Hill to discuss our franchise opportunity and to address your questions. Later, based on mutual interest, we will arrange a meeting with our Executive Group as part of the approval process.

Disclosure Document: We will provide you with a copy of the Country Style Disclosure Document. This document contains background information regarding the franchisor, Country Style Food Services Inc. and its Subsidiaries, as well as copies of the Franchise Agreement, the Sublease and other relevant franchise documentation. After a period of 14 business days of receiving the Disclosure Document and completing your investigation, you are in a position to proceed with the Franchise Documentation.

Offer to Purchase: To purchase a specific site, an Offer to Franchise is signed and a deposit of $20,000 is paid towards the Franchise Fee.

Bank Financing: The Offer to Purchase is conditional on obtaining financing. Country Style will review in detail the process involved in applying for bank financing and will assist you in preparing to meet with a bank.

Franchise Agreement: Once the financing is approved and all other conditions are removed, the Franchise Agreement and all relevant Franchise Documentation is signed. The balance of the franchise fee, along with the balance of the required unencumbered capital is paid to Country Style.

Training: Next, you will be scheduled for training. The training program consists of 5 weeks of comprehensive pre-opening training by our Corporate Trainer, followed by 2 weeks of in-store training at your Country Style franchise by our Store Opening Team.

Store Opening: Upon the successful completion of training and the construction of your restaurant, your Country Style franchise is opened for business. Congratulations on the opening of your Country Style franchise!
